Thanks for being here
I know how difficult it is to find the right therapist for you. There are too many options and choosing what you think will work for you can be overwhelming and disheartening. Often we must try many different professionals before we find what works for us.

I am an accredited humanistic and integrative psychotherapist who holds a Masters degree in humanistic and integrative psychotherapy. My work is guided and informed by the ethical guidelines of IAHIP.
I see the relationship between therapist and client as an essential part of my work.
I work relationally, with a strong mix of psychodynamic and gestalt approaches, always meeting my clients where they are at and working with them in order to provide a safe and warm space in which both therapist and client can connect and engage with one another meaningfully and therapeutically. I believe in the unlimited potential and beauty of every human, and I champion the bravery and dedication that is required in order to take those steps towards better mental health and wellness management through engaging in psychotherapy.

I have extensive experience working with the following:
-
Anxiety
-
Depression
-
Survivors of abuse
-

-
Self-confidence, body and esteem issues
-
Bereavement and loss
-

I have 15 years experience working in social care, during which time I have been a strong support and advocate for clients who were experiencing the following life challenges; survivors of domestic abuse, clients with suicidal thoughts and ideations, mental health diagnoses e.g. schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, personality disorder, depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol addiction and advocating on behalf of clients with state and voluntary bodies.

The relationship you build with your therapist is the single most important factor that leads to positive outcomes. My promise to you is that even if we are not a good match, I will ensure that you are referred on to someone with whom you can have a healing and reparative relationship.
Feel free to get in touch with me to see if we will be a good fit. We can get a sense of this in our first session and then take it from there.
